Climb Sensei
Build guides for League of Legends, measured at the rank you actually play.
Most players are not in the top sixth of the ladder, but most build advice is worked out from players who are. Climb Sensei measures what is winning games in your own rank and shows you the build to match. It is free, there is no account, and there is nothing to install.
What it shows you
- The items to buy for any champion, and the order to buy them in.
- Which runes and summoner spells to take.
- The order to put points into abilities.
- What to change when the enemy team is built a certain way.
- A tier list for every role, and a separate one for ARAM.
- How a champion does differently from Iron up to Diamond.
Where the numbers come from
Real ranked and ARAM games, collected from Riot’s public developer API. We use the current patch and the one before it, and we cover every champion in the game. Everything is worked out again five times a day. An answer built on too few games is not published at all.
What Climb Sensei will not do
It is purely informational. It is a reference you read, not a program that plays: it never presses a key, never moves your mouse, and never changes anything inside the game. It shows you nothing hidden about another player. On the loading screen it reads each enemy’s public recent match history and tells you things like whether the champion they picked is their main. It is built to give no mechanical or real-time advantage.
It also will not pretend to be certain. Where there are not enough games behind an answer, the page says so rather than printing a confident number. Where we cannot yet tell whether our first suggestion beats our fifth, we say that too, and tell you to take the champion you know best. Choosing for you is not the job. Giving you a better set of choices is.
